Roselle Park is one mile square. Visitors can see and enjoy all of the sparkle Roselle Park has to offer this Christmas and Holiday season within minutes driving distance from each other.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
With 68 nominations, our judges decisions were difficult. However, we also want to give recognition to other homes who put in incredible effort and used their space, lighting and decorations that caught our attention and ranked high in our scores. Some homes are specifically mentioned and other locations are named as a group based on driving locations. Who knows, we could have future winners right in this list….

Making Roselle Park Sparkle – Sums it Up
The Larch Street White Christmas
- Turing down the 700 block of Larch Street just makes you want to slow down and enjoy the incredible use of white lights. This is one block that classy is and traditional and makes you want to buy a home on this block. It’s the one area that has the most homes decorated next to each other. So, could this be the new Bender Avenue of the Christmas Spirit?
Getting to Larch Street the Fun Way.
- If you are interested in see the lights on Larch, go the way of Chestnut Street and turn west to West Lincoln, where you will see the tried and true Griswold home on your left. Anyone who has been in town for a while will know what we mean. Then slow down when you get close to Larch. There is a beautifully decorated home on the corner on Larch and West Lincoln. You need to make a right onto Larch to see the white lights, but you will want to make a left to see the continuation of lights on this corner property.
Angelic and Tranquil
- These are the words that come mind when driving up to 22 East Clay and 718 Chestnut Street. These homes prove you don’t need a lot of light to make an impact. Classy and clean, a picture-perfect painting of an old time classic Christmas home.
Fun and Festive
- Take a ride down Lehigh Avenue and you will know what we mean. Two homes caught our attention with the number of animated figures, use of lights and their placements. You must stop your car and take note of what is on the roof, the ground and all around!
West Clay all the Way
- Driving down the 300 block of West Clay it looked like a little competition between to homes across from each other to make spirits rise. We loved the inflatables and lights. Driving up the road towards Grant Avenue, we took note of two homes on the right, well lit, multi-colored and bright. Neither were nominated, but they should be. Drive by and see if you agree.
Beechwood and Beyond
- It’s not enough to have a winner at 625 Beechwood, but after you are done admiring the winner, drive up to 633 if you want another “wow” and then make a right onto West Colfax, but don’t speed up. There are two homes, side by side, that reminded us of the fun and festivities of Lehigh Avenue.
Pull Your Car Over for This One
- Driving Up to 208 East Grant was a treat, but wait! Pull over and look closely at the front porch. Yes, it’s a Christmas Village waiting to be admired.
The Butler Avenue and Warren Avenue Loop
- Drive down Butler Avenue and you will see an eye-catching home, filled with fanfare and lights, then when the block ends make two lefts and you will be on Warren Avenue where you will admire the work of another home well done for the holidays. The problem? The driver side will get all the attention, so passengers, you must stop and get out of the car!
Making Roselle Park Sparkle – Sums it Up
- There is so much more that could be written. Overall the town looks incredible! But, don’t just take our word for it. Use our interactive map and drive down streets with lots of lights like Sheridan Avenue or group sides streets together like Amsterdam and Maplewood or Elm and Larch. Have your children create a route using the map to drive by the most homes or play a game with your friends while driving around. Pretend you are the judges and let us know who you would have selected and why. Who knows – maybe next year, you will be a judge for the Roselle Park Christmas and Holiday Lighting Contest.
